Econday report

The economy appears to be rocky according to Econday, constantly shifting back and forth from over performing to underperforming. As of 9/18/2026 the Economy appears to be growing slightly but still lower than where it was back in May 2026. The housing market is a prime example of how the economy is doing. it is lower than what it was in May but not by much. the economy seems to be steady overall this year not showing much growth but it’s not losing much either. This impacts management strategy because while the market seems bullish right now, it can easily fall below the average performance so managers must be able to plan for a uncertain, unpredictable market. Managers must assess their goals adjust their plans accordingly to survive a up and down market and keep a close eye on how their buisness partners and suppliers are affected by the shifting market.

Steve Jobs thoughts

I believe Steve Jobs has an old school management style, but it worked out in modern times because he truly cared about his product and was very smart. While Jobs made all the huge decisions, he was still charismatic enough to rub off his intellect and motivate his team to accomplish things that were never thought of. He was very demanding and hands on in his products which made him successful, but he was a rare type of manager, and his strategies don’t usually work for other companies who rely more on employees to innovate and create. While Steve Jobs had an old school management approach, it can still be implemented with modern management strategies and make an organization successful today depending on the type of organization it is used on.
